The TEC will arrange a series of speaking events featuring alumni and other professionals in the industry. Past events have included a natural gas fracking panel, energy finance panels, the COO of an energy services startup, and prominent leaders in CleanTech initiatives.
Energy Club Networking Nights
Club members will be able to network with CMU faculty, industry professionals, and energy-focused CMU students outside the business school.
Carnegie Mellon Electricity Industry Center Seminar Series
The Carnegie Mellon Electricity Industry Center sponsors a weekly seminar series. These seminars provide an informal means of presenting research, listening to outside speakers, and learning about the electricity industry.
Energy Club Orientation
Incoming first-year MBA students will learn about the club, resources available at CMU, recruiting opportunities available, and get to interact with current club members and faculty advisors.
Energy Club Lunch and Learn Series
The TEC plans to host a series of lunchtime sessions to educate the Tepper community about all aspects of the energy industry. Planned topics include an overview of the oil & gas industry, opportunities and technologies in renewable energy, and energy finance.
