In the Fall of 2005, as a result of a collaborative effort between the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Tepper School of Business, the Undergraduate Economics Program announced several important and exciting changes designed to further improve the needs of Economics majors, additional majors, and minors.
Key among these changes was that the undergraduate economics degrees would henceforth be jointly awarded by the Dietrich College and Tepper School. All students whose primary major is Economics became students of both Tepper and Dietrich College, reflecting a strong desire that economics majors enjoy the full array of services and support of both schools.
Students wishing to major in Economics should apply to the University through the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
