Club Event Corporate Sponsorships

Professional industry-focused clubs are the heart of networking and job search activities within the Tepper School’s MBA and MSCF programs. Companies can target and enhance their recruiting efforts through specific club-sponsored events. To schedule a targeted club activity, contact Alexa Hansen, Director of Corporate Development at 412-268-8849. Past successful corporate event sponsorships include:

  • Marketing, Finance, and Venture clubs host Boot Camps for 1st year students prior to the start of classes where industry overviews and opportunities are presented by corporate sponsors.
  • There are school-wide and interscholastic case competitions where student teams compete against each other in resolving company-specific business problems so that not only does a sponsor get a solution, but they are able to see top B-school students in action. Case competition sponsors act as judges.
  • Club-specific workshops are offered by companies on industry topics that students most likely won't learn in a classroom environment. Company representatives work with club leaders to determine topics of value and interest to student groups.
  • Friday night “B**rs” is a Tepper Tradition for our 1st and 2nd year students, along with faculty and corporate sponsors, to breathe and network outside of the classroom.
  • Clubs arrange treks to cities worldwide to visit targeted companies who offer travel opportunities.
  • Also, some clubs publish industry-specific materials (Graduate Finance Association publishes the Red Book, which is sold to all MSCF and Finance-driven MBA students) featuring sponsorship names and logos.
