The UEA exists to foster the entrepreneurial spirit at Carnegie Mellon by equipping our students with the tools necessary to become successful Entrepreneurs.
We support our mission through a wide variety of activities for our campus community. Some of these include annual participation in Global Entrepreneurship Week, a worldwide event promoting entrepreneurship to those who are interested, and the Tepper Venture Challenge, an annual undertaking by the UEA which hosts a forum for students to present their business ideas and compete with each other for cash prizes and support for their businesses. For our students, we host and participate in a variety of lecture series, workshops, and social events which further help to educate the practical and useful ideas in the field of entrepreneurship.
