Making a Difference in the Community

The Military Veterans Association and the admissions team at the Tepper School of Business have teamed up in an active effort to make a difference in the community. The group has built an ongoing relationship with a program called Semper Fi Odyssey, ran by MGen Jones, USMC (retired).

Semper Fi Odyssey is dedicated towards helping veterans who were wounded in combat make the transition to the civilian world. The program brings in groups of 25-30 wounded warriors for a week long program. At the end of the week, the veterans are put through multiple strenuous mock interviews that are designed to test the skills they have worked hard to build over the past week.

Annie Dolan, a member of the Tepper School of Business admissions team, accompanied by several members of the Military Veterans Association, continue to visit Semper Fi Odyssey to help conduct these mock interviews as well as participate in other various activities.
