Students will take their regular CS curriculum through their third year at Carnegie Mellon. The MBA will be awarded only if the CS requirements for the BSCS degree are fulfilled. The BSCS degree will be awarded in May of year 4, if all undergraduate coursework is completed at that time. Some students may need to complete remaining BSCS requirements in year 5. The normal unit requirement for the MBA degree is 192 units. However, 30 units of undergraduate coursework will count towards the MBA elective requirements.
Carnegie Mellon undergraduates should apply via Tepper's online application system by January 31st of their junior year.
Please take care to submit the following application materials:
Eligibility is based upon approval by the CS program office assuming you are in good academic standing and on track to complete your BSCS requirements on time. In addition, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher at the end of the Fall of junior year and have completed at least 1 company internship prior to applying.
