NOTICE- Selected Databases to be Shut Down in Preparation for Hurricane Sandy- 10/29/12

The Tepper School of Business is taking proactive measures to protect databases from potential damage due to anticipated power outages that may result from Hurricane Sandy.

Selected database servers housed at the Tepper School of Business will be shut down beginning at 10 p.m. on Monday, October 29.

Plans are in place to keep the Tepper School website (www.tepper.cmu.edu) online during the shutdown of servers, however, some online services like the Compass alumni network, student course registration and faculty directories will be offline.

The servers will be restored and databases returned to normal operation once the storm passes through region and power supply issues have been mitigated.
