Where I Live

I rent an apartment in Shadyside. The location is great right on the CMU and PAT bus routes, and close to all the amenities I need (grocery store, dry cleaners, and restaurants). My apartment is operated by a Property Management company. I called various management companies to learn about their openings, amenities, and rent.
 

Best Place To Eat

Squirrel Hill is my favorite place to eat as they have EVERY single type of food you can imagine: Ice cream, Subs, Thai, Middle Eastern, etc.
 

Best Off-Campus Activities

Culture: Going to the cultural district to catch music performances, Broadway shows, plays, the orchestra, and ballet. Parks: Schenley Park and North Park are wonderful places to escape the city and see some greenery. Sports: I love to play soccer and there are various indoor and outdoor leagues in which I participate.
 

My Favorite Grocery Store

Giant Eagle is my favorite grocery store. It is a market district shop with great produce and a wide selection of the things I need. Not only is it within walking distance of my apartment, but I also get fuel and food perks from the Giant Eagle Advantage Card.
 

Best Way to Exercise

I play soccer in various leagues around the city (Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena, Greater Pittsburgh Soccer League). There are also great opportunities to participate in the Pittsburgh Sports League organized by PUMP.
