Shadyside - I rent the 2nd floor of a 3-story house and live there with my girlfriend. I found the place last minute from a friend. Otherwise, would have rented from Franklin West - relatively pricey but really nice places.

Best Places To Eat

• Shadyside: Casbah, Crepes Parisiennes, Enrico's.
• Squirrel Hill: Rosetea Cafe, Chaya (sushi)
• Strip district: Kaya, Vietnam Pho.
• Southside: Yo Rita.

My Favorite Off-Campus Activitues

Going to concerts (check WYEP listings). Going to Strip District.

Learn the bus / shuttle schedule.
Southside has better bars.
