Active Life
It’s time to go outside and play. Stay in shape, keep stress to a minimum, hang out with fellow students, and even network during your time at Tepper by joining a sports club or exploring Pittsburgh’s natural beauty.
The city’s steep hills, wooded parks, and natural and converted rail trails offer the perfect setting for a scenic hike, daily run, bike trek, or geocaching adventure. Rock climbing, skiing, and horseback riding can be found at nearby state parks, like Ohiopyle and Moraine. And if you love the water, the Ohio, Monongahela, and Allegheny Rivers are open for boating, water skiing, and fishing.
The Tepper School of Business offers four clubs for outdoor enthusiasts. Join a group of health-conscious students, faculty, and alumni who train and compete together in running, biking, swimming, and other endurance events as part of the Tepper Endurance Club. Explore the game of golf as a leisure sport and strategic business tool as a member of the Tepper Golf Club. Enjoy a little friendly competition and the opportunity to network with other top business schools in a relaxing and fun environment as a member of the Tepper Soccer Club. Or stay in shape and decompress as you play in tournaments with players from business schools around the country as a member of the Tepper Volleyball Club.
