Meet our team:
Kelly R. Wilson – Executive Director of Masters Admissions
Kelly joined the Masters Admissions team in August of 2012. In her role as executive director, she brings more than 15 years of admissions and recruiting experience to the Tepper School. Prior to her experience in higher education, Kelly worked as a strategic change consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and an account executive for Johnson & Higgins of Washington, D.C. Kelly holds a BA in psychology from Grove City College, an MBA from George Mason University and an MS-MIS degree from University of Pittsburgh. Kelly has traveled to more than 30 countries and loves to learn about new cultures. One tip Kelly offers is that much can be learned about a different society by visiting the neighborhood grocery store, which she does each time she arrives in a new place.
Cindy McCauley — Director of Masters Admissions
Cindy joined the Tepper admissions team in 2015. In her role as director, Cindy manages all admissions operations and marketing activities. Prior to Tepper, Cindy spent over a decade managing MBA programs at Temple, Georgetown and George Washington University. She holds a BS in Business Administration from Robert Morris University and an MBA from Georgetown. She loves to travel and has been to over 20 countries, can hold her own on the tennis court and enjoys cooking big dinner parties for friends.
Emily Archambeault – Associate Director of Masters Admissions
Emily joined the Masters Admissions team in 2014. In her role as an associate director, Emily oversees all events for Masters Admissions and assists in our recruitment initiatives. She also works closely with women’s recruitment and the Forté Foundation. Emily is eager to meet interested students and help them through the application process. She holds a dual BA in American Studies and Political Science from the University of Virginia and an MA in Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan.
Ryan Astor – Associate Director of Master Admissions
Ryan joined the Masters Admissions team in 2014. In his role as associate director, Ryan works directly with recruitment strategies and initiatives. Prior to coming to Carnegie Mellon University, Ryan served as a Regional Recruiter for the University of Alabama. He holds a BA in Communications from California University of PA and a MA in Higher Education from Geneva College. Ryan spends most of time with his family. He also enjoys exploring Pittsburgh, watching and playing sports, traveling and anything food related.
Kari Calvario – Associate Director of Masters Admissions
Kari joined the Masters Admissions team in 2014. In her role as an associate director, Kari assists with our admissions operations and is eager to work with students and offer guidance throughout their application process. Kari holds a BA in English Literature from Waynesburg University and a Masters in Education from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She and her husband recently renovated an old, historic home and are enjoying being done with house projects for a while! She also enjoys reading, running and laughing with family and friends.
Nicole Chambati – Assistant Director of Masters Admissions
Nicole joined the Masters Admissions team in 2014. In her role as an assistant director, Nicole assists with admissions recruiting. She is also the team lead for U.S. underrepresented minorities. Nicole holds a BBA in Marketing and an MBA both from Radford University. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and baking. She is also obsessed with high-end luxury cars.
Jackie Jones – Assistant Director of Masters Admissions
Jackie joined the Masters Admissions team in 2012. In her current role as an assistant director, Jackie assists with outreach and recruitment activities and serves as an ally and liaison for prospective LGBT students. She holds a BS from Eastern Michigan University and an MS in education from Indiana University, Bloomington. Jackie has lived in Pittsburgh for nearly 10 years and enjoys sharing suggestions of things to do or places to visit in the city. Additionally, Jackie volunteers at a local animal shelter, enjoys gallery crawls, running marathons, and rows in the summer with a local crew team.
Andrew Walizer – Assistant Director of Masters Admissions
Andrew joined the Masters Admissions team in 2015. In his role as assistant director, Andrew works with various recruitment activities and assists with both on and off-campus events. Andrew is also the lead recruiter for military veterans. He holds a BA in psychology from Washington and Jefferson College. Andrew spends most of his time with his wife and their dog. He also enjoys trying new spicy foods and playing video games.
Judy Nardiello – Office Manager
Judy joined the Masters Admission team in 2014. She brings ten years of MBA admissions experience to her role as office manager. In many cases, Judy will be the first point of contact with prospective MBA candidates. Judy holds a BS degree in education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and was an elementary school teacher early in her career. Judy enjoys British mysteries, her cats and spoiling her grandchildren.
Dana Lovas – Masters Admissions Coordinator
Dana joined the admissions team in 1987. She has held a variety of positions over the years and her current responsibilities include processing and tracking applications through each stage of the admissions process and providing information to our applicants. Dana is also responsible for the coordination of foreign student I-20’s by processing the pertinent forms and working with the Office of International Education to ensure that our foreign students receive their I-20’s in a timely fashion. Dana's experience in admissions makes her a valuable asset to our office and to our applicants. She is able to answer most questions you may have regarding the application process.
