The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon offers an outstanding financial aid package to its doctoral candidates. All doctoral candidates receive full tuition, plus a stipend for four years, through the William Larimer Mellon Fund. Because amounts vary from year to year, specific tuition and stipend information is available from the Tepper School Doctoral Program Office. The Doctoral Program's estimated student budget for 2011-12 is now available.
In addition to tuition remission and stipend, our Ph.D. students also receive an IBM Thinkpad notebook computer free of charge, to support their computing needs while they are in residence. The exact specifications of the machine to be provided change from year to year as the technology evolves, so applicants interested in specific information about computer support should also contact the Tepper School Doctoral Program Office.
Corporate fellowships are frequently given to the Tepper School for doctoral candidates in particular fields. As part of the Campaign for Carnegie Mellon, the university's current capital campaign, the Tepper School is actively seeking additional corporate fellowships for doctoral students.
