Kelsey Arena, President

In addition to moving to Pittsburgh, I followed a dream to get back into the real estate world after working for a medical device company for three years. I am a Online Sales Counselor for the premier neighborhoods of PA, Newbury, Venango Trails, and Edgewater! I was born in CT and attended college there too, so needless to say I was ready for a change. I'm constantly trying new recipes -- not only do I like to cook, I like to eat! On the weekends you can find me at either Barre Bee Fit class or trying to find some sort of adventure. My boyfriend's family owns a cabin on a lake outside of Pittsburgh, and I plan on spending most of my spring/summer there! As your President, I am here to welcome you and answer any questions you may have regarding the Partners Club. I will be your liaison for any information you need to make your general transitions to Pittsburgh smooth. In addition, I will communicate often with Partners about Partner events and/or events that are shared with me!

Jenny Nemlekar, Vice President

I'm an engineer turned designer. I own a small business, Jenny N. Design [www.jennyndesign.com], where I design and hand make bags in my studio full of leather hides, rolls of canvas, and my (growing) industrial sewing machine collection. My husband is my unpaid manager and male model (if I nag him enough). I earned my bachelors in biomedical engineering from UT, where I met Shay while he was working in Austin. When I'm not in the studio, I love to experiment in the kitchen! I work and cook with my trusty furry sidekick pug Hubert snoring at my feet. As your Vice President, in addition to helping Kelsey with her Presidential duties, you'll see my work in the form of the photography, graphics and marketing material for the Partners Club.

Molly White, Career Liason

I am a proud wife of a Tepper MBA student and a soon-to-be mommy. After receiving my MBA last year from Duke, I started a new career in brand management at Heinz. Before grad school in NC, I worked in Philadelphia and Manhattan. I am originally from Cleveland and went to college at UPenn (where Kevin and I met). Outside of work, I love exploring new restaurants and running trails. I am looking forward to a 2nd SY full of adventures getting to know our new city. As your Career Liaison, I am here to support your career transition to Pittsburgh. I will provide assistance finding contacts and companies in your industry. I will also provide some resume, cover letter, and interview resources.

Morgan Kruse, VP Finance

I work in pharmacoeconomic consulting, and I have been home-based for the last 4 years (which made the transition to Pittsburgh a bit easier!). My husband and I moved from Orange County, where we both grew up. We also lived in San Francisco for a bit, plus I was in Boston for undergrad (Tufts) and he was in North Carolina (Wake Forest). However, I am technically a Pittsburgh native since I was born at Magee! We have dog (Doug the Pug), who is not into these winters any more than we are. I like to think I'm a pretty big foodie, and a huge trivia/puzzle nerd (Jeopardy!, Sporcle, Lumosity, crossword puzzles, and pub trivia are my jam). My weeknights are mostly split between a Barre Bee Fit class and terrible show on Bravo. As VP of Finance, I am responsible for a lot of the back-end stuff that goes into our club and events. Mostly boring things like keeping the ledger, creating a budget, and making sure all of our bills get paid. But on the fun side, my role is to maximize the amount of paid-for fun we can have as a club!

Bina Colman, VP International Relations

I am a recruiter at Home Instead Senior Care, always looking for the next best CAREGiver to care for seniors through out Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. I am in classes myself right now to get my degree in Gerontology and love learning about this growing field all the time. When not working or studying I love to try new restaurants with my husband for his food blog, unvegan.com, I also enjoy reading, flipping through most any magazine and watching (probably too much) tv. Coming from both Scottsdale, AZ and Los Angeles, CA I will say this winter was not easy to get used to, but every day I do find it easier and easier to cope with! I’m looking forward to our second year in Pittsburgh and exited to share with everyone what fun things the board has in store for them! As VP of International Relations I plan on helping the partners of students who are moving to America for the first time, or coming back, but just to a new city, such as Pittsburgh. I am excited to help the partners choose what neighborhoods to live in, shop in and get to know that fits them the best! I also want to make sure that this move is an easy transition and will find other like partners who have gone through this to show you are not alone! Please do reach out with any questions, concerns or suggestions you may have – I’m always here to help!

Cait Wallenhorst, VP Events & Publicity

I'm a school psychologist currently working at Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV, which is an educational agency serving local schools. My husband and I both grew up in the same small town about 45 minutes south of Buffalo N.Y., but we didn't start dating until college! I went to undergrad at SUNY Geneseo and received my masters degree at the University at Buffalo before moving to Pittsburgh. I love dancing, running, baking (to counteract the running), and playing with my golden retriever, Ziggy! Tim and I are also insane Buffalo Bills fans and I probably own more Bills gear than is socially acceptable. As VP of Events & Publicity, my job is to make sure you have an amazing time while you're here in Pittsburgh and that you experience all that the city has to offer! This coming year, I'm working on organizing a variety of events, big and small, that appeal to partners of all different backgrounds. So whether you're looking for a night on the town or for a more family-friendly outing, I promise there will be something for everyone! I'm always open to suggestions too, so if you have an idea for an event, please let me know and I'll do my best to make it happen!

Alex Olsen Kasanezky, VP Traveling Partners

I work in Accenture’s Management Consulting Practice where I specialize in Supply Chain Optimization projects and Business Case Development. Prior to coming to Tepper, my partner Alex Brown, our dog Jada and I lived all over the country including Denver, Minneapolis, Houston and New Orleans. My job requires that I travel Monday through Friday but when I am in Pittsburgh you can find me riding my bike to explore one of Pittsburgh’s many small neighborhoods (life does exist outside of Shadyside!),  hanging out with other Tepper Partners and students, or pursing my hobby in real estate. As the VP of Distance Based Partners my goal is to make Pittsburgh feel like a home for those who may travel during the week or are not able to permanently relocate here. Remember that all of us have only been acquainted a short time, so never feel like relationships are so well established that you cannot jump in and be treated like an old friend!  As part of my duties I will also try to increase membership and participation from other male partners.

Erika Redlin, University Liason

My partner Jason and I moved to Pittsburgh from Vail, Colorado. Living in Colorado helped me develop passions for various outdoor sports. I love skiing and mountain biking, and I have recently become SCUBA certified. In Colorado, I worked as a 7th grade teacher, and I have done several jobs in Pittsburgh as a substitute teacher. I am currently studying to become a speech language pathologist, which is an exciting and interesting new field for me. We also have a dog named Gidget who is full of energy and loves meeting new people and dogs.I am here to make sure that you have the answers to all of your University related questions. There are a lot of great on-campus benefits available to partners, and I want to make sure you have all of the information you need to take advantage of those benefits. I can answer any questions you may have about becoming part of the Carnegie Mellon on-campus community as well as how to reap the rewards of being a Tepper Partner!
