Students with 45 units who receive a semester QPA of 3.50 or higher (while receiving no incompletes) will be placed on the Dean's List.
Students who achieve an overall QPA of 3.5 or higher will graduate from Carnegie Mellon with University Honors.
The Business Administration program provides recognition of outstanding seniors. Students have the opportunity to develop their skills in research and analysis through completion of an honors thesis. In a 2-semester project, students earn 18 units of Business Administration credit and graduate with "College Honors." To qualify, students must maintain a QPA of 3.75 and have an approved faculty advisor.
Each year the Undergraduate Business Administration program selects three seniors for this award. Seniors who embody high standards of academic excellence combined with multi-dimensional characteristics such as volunteerism, involvement in student organizations, participation in sports or the arts and leadership are selected for this honor.
