Business Technology Club
According to Bill Gates, "Information technology and business are becoming inextricably interwoven. I don't think anybody can talk meaningfully about one without the talking about the other."
It's no surprise that the presence of technology is increasingly impacting the business world. And to acknowledge the importance of these two fields, the Business Technology Club has been established.
The primary goals of the BTC include the following:
- Promoting Business Technology recruiting events
- Increasing networking opportunities with peers and employers
- Providing a peer-to-peer forum to discuss, learn about business and technology issues, and discover about each member's own career and intellectual interests
We have participated in events such as networking sessions (i.e. The Bank of New York Mellon, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Venmo), hackathons (Yahoo!U), and general body meetings. We strive to participate and host events in which we can combine technical and business topics that will allow for students to learn, experience, and network with other peers and professionals.
