Varun Kumar, PresidentVarun completed his undergraduate degree in Information Technology from the University of Delhi, India. Prior to Tepper, he has worked as a Solution Engineer for Nokia Siemens Networks based out of India. In his past life, Varun traveled extensively and worked in varying capacities; as a consultant, project manager, techincal architect & software developer. At Tepper, Varun passionately pursues a number of activities and is a member of the academic committee. He plans to pursue concentration(s) in Strategy, Marketing, and Enterprenaurship. Over the summer, Varun will be busy working at Groupon on their Mobile strategies.arun completed his undergraduate degree in Information Technology from the University of Delhi, India.

Som Sreedhar, Vice PresidentSom holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University. Prior to attending Tepper, Som worked for six years in sales and business development at National Instruments. In this role, he consulted with clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, developing solutions to improve production quality and quickly bring products to market. Som will complete his MBA internship through Emerson Electric's Corporate Sponsorship Program for MBAs. He is a member of Tepper's Marketing, Consulting and Operations clubs.

Brendan Griffin, Alumni Executive OfficerBrendan Griffin holds a B.S. from Elon University in Environmental Science, with minors in Biology and Chemistry. Prior to attending the Tepper School of Business, Brendan was the Financial Officer at ILR, Inc. in Durham, North Carolina. Here, he worked on numerous grants through federal, state and private entities. Brendan will be interning at the investment bank Leerink Swann. He is pursuing a Master of Public Policy & Management at Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz School concurrently with his MBA studies at Tepper. Brendan hopes to pursue a career in Investment Banking after he graduates. Outside of school, Brendan enjoys squash, golf, and weightlifting and is involved in community outreach.

Krystel Baeza Grossmann-Siegert, Activities Executive OfficerOriginally from Venezuela, Krystel graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, she worked as a Sr. Account Executive for Y&R Brands – Enfatico for three years before deciding to pursue her MBA degree at Carnegie Mellon University. At the Tepper School of Business, she plans to concentrate on Marketing and Strategy in order to pursue a career in Consumer Packaged Goods. She will complete her MBA internship with Unilever in the Brand Management program. Oliver Tassinari, Marketing Executive OfficerOliver Tassinari holds a B.S. in Biological and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University. Prior to enrolling at Tepper, Oliver worked as an Analyst at Lux Research, based in Boston, advising clients’ strategic decisions regarding emerging material science-based technologies. In addition to advising clients on investment due diligence, technology portfolio assessments, and market research and analysis, Oliver also helped launch new intelligence products focused on Green Buildings Technologies and Chinese Innovation. At Tepper, Oliver is pursuing concentrations in General Management, Strategy and Finance and will be completing his MBA Summer internship at Bristol-Myers Squibb within the firm’s R&D Strategy and Business Operations Group. Justin Borntraeger, Technology Executive OfficerJustin Borntraeger enjoyed ten years of customer-focused work experience prior to Tepper, where he is studying innovation and product development. A psychology major at Princeton, Justin started his career as a Princeton Project 55 Fellow leading financial literacy programs on Chicago's West Side. He then joined SAMA, the Chicago-based strategic sales association, where he built a user-focused content development department. Most recently, Justin consulted on team design and Web content strategy for large U.S. government agencies and public companies. For balance, Justin enjoys running, skiing (any surface), driving on closed tracks, and tinkering with his Pittsburgh Victorian house.

Juhi Dudani, Admissions Executive OfficerJuhi Dudani grew up in Southern California and received a B.S. from the University of California, San Diego, where she studied Management Science/Economics. Prior to Tepper, Juhi worked at an ERP software business, managing implementation projects within the Process Manufacturing Industry. Juhi will be completing her MBA internship at AT&T in Chicago as part of its Leadership Development Program. While at Tepper, Juhi is pursuing the Entrepreneurship Track and a concentration in Operations. She is a member of the Business and Technology Club, Tepper Women in Business and South Asian Business Association. In her spare time, Juhi loves to take dance classes, visit her local yoga studio in Shadyside and soak up some California sunshine.

John P. Balfour, Career Services Executive OfficerJP Balfour is a native born Texan and was raised in Plano, a suburb in north Dallas. He graduated with a B.A. in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in 2005. While at Johns Hopkins, JP was a 15-time All-American NCAA swimmer and a founder of the Hopkins chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Prior to pursuing his MBA, JP worked for six years in sales, most notably at Automatic Data Processing. JP will complete his internship at GE Capital in the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program. Hash Gupta, Finance Executive OfficerHarsh Gupta holds a B.Com. degree in Accounting from Mumbai University, India. Prior to attending the Tepper School of Business, Harsh held various positions in marketing and strategy in the consumer goods industry in India. Harsh has international work experience in Japan and China. Harsh is passionate about languages and can speak Japanese fluently. Harsh also speaks Mandarin, French and Spanish. Apart from languages, Harsh is passionate about theoretical physics and a Poker enthusiast. Suyang Li, MSCF Executive OfficerSuyang received her bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance and a minor in Statistics from the National University of Singapore. Prior to joining the MSCF Program, she worked with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (Singapore) as a quantitative analyst, specializing in modeling and pricing of exotic interest rate products. Barry Rabkin, Flex-time Executive OfficerAfter founding and leading Beloit College's street dance club and graduating with a Psychology Degree, Barry returned to his hometown to open CypherStyles.com "The Amazon.com of Street Dance". Featured in the Jewish Chronicle, Pittsburgh City Paper, Yinzpiration and Carnegie Mellon Today, Barry has developed over 50 successful new products and is currently honing his craft in Tepper's New Product Development & Innovation Program. Barry has been certified as a UPA Usability Professional, Sports Nutritionist, Bartender and National Counsel of Strength and Fitness Personal Trainer and enjoys dancing, raquetball, video games, digital photography and spending time with his Flextime Classmates and lovely wife Sarah.
