Sophie Eustis, President

Sophie graduated with a BA in sociology from Northwestern University. Before joining the Tepper School, she worked as an Americorps*VISTA at a small nonprofit in Chicago. Sophie then worked in enrollment management consulting for private colleges. While at the Tepper School she is pursuing concentrations in operations, organizational behavior and entrepreneurship. Sophie hopes to work in nonprofit management, specifically focusing on education and community development. She spends her free time playing and coaching lacrosse, and hiking around the Pittsburgh area.

Tim Altman, VP of Marketing

Tim Altman grew up in the Boston area and graduated with a degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley. After a brief stint as an audio engineer in the music business, Tim relocated to New York and began working in television advertising post-production as a sound designer and composer. His clients included various ad agencies, film studios and broadcast networks such as Viacom, NBC, HBO, A&E and Disney. Tim’s role in post-production was both creative and technical and eventually grew to managing and producing content for broadcast television, feature film and the web. Tim is a musician, composer, triathlete, soccer player, and photographer.

Sarah Gillespie, VP of Social Initiatives

Sarah graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Prior to joining Tepper, Sarah worked as a Logistics Program Manager at a large electronics manufacturer. While at Tepper Sarah is pursuing concentrations in strategy and operations. She is interested in clean-tech within the energy sector and hopes to make an impact at a clean-tech start-up. She spent the past ten years enjoying living in Washington, DC and she now enjoys exploring Pittsburgh.

Ina Labermeier, VP of Environmental Initiatives

Ina is originally from California and graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a BA in Environment, Economics and Politics. Prior to Tepper, she worked for the outdoor clothing company, Patagonia, in various roles, leader to her final position as store operations manager. At Tepper, Ina is pursuing concentrations in Operations Management, Marketing and Strategy and looks forward to helping companies adopt more sustainable business practices. In her spare time, Ina enjoys traveling, playing soccer and growing vegetables.

Tanmay Sinha, VP of Outreach

Tanmay Sinha is currently an MBA candidate at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University focusing on strategy and entrepreneurial studies. He is a software engineering graduate from School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University and a veteran software professional with more than 5 years of experience in the industry. Before going back to business school, he was a Senior Software Engineer with Big Data group at IBM. He recently started a not-for-profit project to tackle the issue of poor prose literacy skills among adults. He is also a mentor and tutor at Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council and winner of their Outstanding Volunteer Tutor Award for 2012. His interests lie in using technology to improve access to education and exploring sustainable business models for social enterprises.

Greg Smith, VP of Social Media

Gregory Smith is from Washington D.C. where he has worked in the IT industry for 9 years. Greg worked administering to IT systems and ensuring the security of computer networks. Previously he has worked with technically illiterate adults in tech education at the volunteer organization ByteBack DC. He has an interest in nature and the environment which brought him to join NetImpact. He is working to become a leader in IT that can make a sustainable difference through technology.
