Veenusha Santchurn, President

Veenusha comes to Tepper with a varied background in consulting and impact investing. After earning her BA in Economics with Management Concentration from Ohio Wesleyan University, Veenusha spent four years at Calvert Foundation where she drove continuous improvement and sustainability efforts to structure and grow the organization’s operations. She also worked as a Financial Analyst at Abt Associates. Prior to joining business school, she worked as a Manager at PwC leading numerous business transformation initiatives in Africa. She is a certified PMP and is concentrating in Operations Management, Strategy and Organizational Behavior at Tepper.

Joshua Morrell, VP of Finance

Josh is originally from Michigan and graduated from Kettering University with a BS in Electrical Engineering in 2006. He worked as an Engineer and Sr. Engineer for six years at Patti Engineering, a small control systems integrator before coming to Tepper. At Tepper he is concentrating on Operations Management and Information Systems. He once drank 18 cans of Pepsi in a 24 hour period. He will be spending his summer interning for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI.

Kristen Ballweg, VP of Corporate Relations

Kristen is originally from Markesan, Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in Political Science and International Studies. Prior to attending the Tepper School of Business, she had a seven year career as a Federal lobbyist in Washington, D.C. where she represented several major trade associations. Kris is concentrating on Operations Management, Finance and Organizational Behavior. This summer, Kris will be joining Deere & Company as an intern in the Strategic Management Program.

Mrugank Desai, VP of Marketing & Communication

Mrugank spent his childhood in the Middle East and moved to Germany, where he completed his BS in Information Technology in 2006. Prior to joining Tepper, Mrugank gained extensive supply chain management experience advising several Fortune 500 companies through his role as a Senior Consultant with Deloitte. His last engagement was with Caterpillar, where he developed global processes and enterprise applications to conduct consensus based demand management and forecasting. At Tepper, he is concentrating in operations management and corporate strategy. Mrugank is a certified lean and Six Sigma yellow belt. This summer, Mrugank will be interning within Operations Management at Amazon.

Teresa Thoppil, VP of Education

Teresa is originally from India but spent a majority of her life in Indonesia and Singapore. She graduated from Singapore Management University with BBM in Finance and Operations Management. Prior to attending the Tepper School of Business, Teresa worked as a Senior Credit Analyst for four and half years at the Singapore Branch of Mizuho Corporate Bank, the second largest bank in Japan. At Tepper, she is concentrating on Operations Management, Strategy and Organizational Behavior. She will be joining Amazon as an Operations Manager Intern for this summer.

Uzma Khan, VP of External Affairs

Uzma is originally from India. She graduated from HBTI, India with a B.Tech degree in chemical engineering in 2006. She has cross industry experience in providing technology solution and worked for Dell Services, software service offering of Dell computers and CenturyLink Telecommunications. She managed various process improvement projects to improve operational efficiency of hospitals through technology implementation for a leading US healthcare provider. At Tepper she is pursuing Operations Management, Strategy, and Organizational behavior concentrations. Uzma is an avid dancer and a great ping-pong player.
