JAY WONG, President

Jay graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Accounting. Upon graduation, Jay started his career with Ernst & Young. Jay has also worked in FP&A at Zynga and eBay. At Tepper, Jay is pursuing concentrations in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. Jay is a licensed California CPA (inactive, non-practicing). Jay will be spending his summer in New York City at Jefferies in the investment banking division.


Jason Stowell, Executive Vice President

Jason graduated from Brigham Young University honors cum laude, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance. He began his career as an analyst at Wells Fargo. Jason worked as the primary investor relations contact for 10 private equity funds and 7 hedge funds. In addition to the GFA, Jason also serves on the board of the Soccer Club. He will be interning this summer at a private investment firm.




Roger Younan, VP of Internal Affairs

Roger graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics. Roger started his career with WSP Global, one of the world’s leading engineering consulting and management firms. Throughout his tenure with WSP, Roger served on the engineering and project management team for several large clients, including Cirque du Soleil. Roger also served as an external advisor to final-year engineering students at McGill University and he co-founded and managed a small investment fund in the Montreal region. While at Tepper, Roger is pursuing concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Strategy. Roger will be joining J.P. Morgan in the Investment Banking Division in New York City this summer.


John Wasaff, Treasuer

John graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to enrolling at Tepper, John worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he researched patent applications related to electrical and mechanical technologies. John is especially interested at the role of finance at tech companies; besides being involved with GFA at Tepper, he’s also an active member of the Business and Technology Club. Outside of his professional interests, John is passionate about soccer, cooking, and education-related causes. John will be interning at Cisco Systems in San Jose, CA this summer.


Tenzin Dechen, VP of Publications

Tenzin Dechen graduated from Delhi University in India where she earned a degree in Finance. She began her career at JP Morgan Chase in Mumbai as a Fund Accountant. She also worked at JP Morgan Chase in Boston for three years on valuation and pricing of exchange traded funds. Tenzin is also on the board of BizzComm Club. In her free time, she enjoys travelling and exploring different culture. Tenzin is pursuing a concentration in Finance and Strategy at Carnegie Mellon's Tepper Business School. This summer, she will be joining in as a Financial Analyst Intern in the Finance Leadership Development Program at IBM.


Jon Chong, VP of Alumni Relations

Past: BS in Chemical Engineering - UCLA, Television Production - NBCUniversal. Expert: Technical Validation Writer/Executor, Broadcast TV segment capture and leader of diverse teams in various environments from BioPharma to Baseball teams. Creator:  College acceptance mentorship program for local high school students. Amateur: Youth and adult jujitsu coach and aspiring gaming tech writer and podcast host. Future: Strategic Planning Intern - Intel Corporation.

Rin Nirundonpruk, VP of MSCF relations

Rin graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Economics in June 2013. She joined the MSCF program in hopes of leveraging her engineering background in the finance industry. Rin will be interning in New York City at BNP Paribas as a Sales & Trading Analyst in the Fixed Income group.


Aaron Bauer, VP of Corporate Finance

Aaron graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Accounting. He started his career in public accounting working with hedge fund and private equity clients. Later, Aaron joined the private equity firm KKR in their San Francisco office. Aaron enjoys traveling and the outdoors including extreme sports such as snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing. Aaron is concentrating in strategy and finance at Tepper and will be interning with the Treasury group at EQT Corporation in Pittsburgh.



Greg Mazares, VP of Mentoring Asset Management/Equity Research

Prior to attending Tepper, Greg worked for six years at PwC, including four years in Assurance and two years performing financial due diligence on M&A transactions for corporate and private equity clients. In addition to this work experience, Greg earned his CPA license and has passed all three parts of the CFA exam. Greg recently participated in Cornell MBA stock pitch competition, and was a member of the Tepper teams that made the finals at UNC’s Alpha Challenge and the Ben Graham stock pitch competition. Greg went through the recruiting process in asset management and equity research and will be joining Thornburg Investment Management as a buy-side equity analyst this summer.


Marcus Peters, VP of Sales & Trading

Prior to Tepper, Marcus was a research analyst at Franklin Templeton Investments. Marcus’ primary responsibilities were providing buy sell recommendations to the municipal bond portfolio managers and traders. His focus was on state and local general obligation bonds and other revenue bonds in California, New York, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, and Georgia. Prior to joining the research department Marcus was a trader in the municipal bond department responsible for managing cash in four state specific funds. Marcus earned his BA in Quantitative Economics from the University of California, Irvine and is a member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts and the San Francisco Municipal Bond Club.


Stefan Boyd, VP of Investment Banking

Stefan graduated with a degree in Finance and Applied Mathematics from Walla Walla University. Before coming to Tepper, he worked as an actuarial analyst for Independent Actuaries, Inc., in Portland, OR. His role involved designing and managing pension plans and other retirement plans for both small and large businesses. Stefan is pursuing a concentration in Finance and Strategy at Tepper. He is also the President of the Tepper Soccer Club and a member of the Basketball Club. Stefan will be joining J.P. Morgan this summer in the investment banking division in New York City.


Anshul Arora, VP of Technology

Prior to Tepper, Anshul worked as a senior analyst in the Asset Management Division of J.P. Morgan. His primary responsibilities included analyzing performance and attribution reports for equities and fixed income. In addition to his work experience, Anshul has completed all the three levels of CFA program and both the levels of the FRM exam. While at Tepper, Anshul is pursuing concentrations in Finance, Operations and Strategy. This summer, he will be joining Amazon as a senior financial analyst.


John Streppa, VP of Events

John Streppa, CFA is a first year MBA candidate at the Tepper School of Business concentrating on finance and strategy. John is currently serving as a board member of the Graduate Finance Association, President of the Alpha Asset Management Club, and an investment committee member of the Tepper Opportunity Fund. John is interested in research with a focus on U.S. Equities. Prior to Tepper, John worked for Cambridge Associates where he was responsible for due diligence in the long-only U.S. Equity growth space. In this role, John served as an advisor to internal consultants on manager selection and structure for institutional clients. John was a finalist in the 2013 UNC Alpha Challenge. John earned a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech and is a CFA charter holder.

Aohan (Andy) Sun, VP of MSCF relations

Aohan (Andy) Sun received the highest distinction honor for his Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During his first internship in a life insurance company in Beijing, he had the chance to apply course material to actual life endowment insurance policy development. Later, he acquired essential teamwork skills while interning at Ernst & Young in the assurance department. Last summer, he gained insights into the shadow banking market by helping in asset management and third-party evaluation process in a state-owned trust company. Andy will join J.P. Morgan over the summer for an internship in Sales & Trading in Singapore.
