James R. Swartz Entrepreneurial Fellows Program

The James R. Swartz Entrepreneurial Fellows Program fast-tracks the careers of CMU graduate students who are passionate about entrepreneurship and technology. Our goal is to develop each student's potential and leadership skills through a 15-month program that emphasizes hands-on experience as well as entrepreneurship curriculum. No more than eight Fellows are selected per year.

The core of the program is a summer internship with a top tier, venture-backed start-up within the high-tech, high-growth sector. Each student will embark on a self-directed internship search that includes two networking trips to the California Bay Area and guidance from a combination of alumni, faculty and staff.

• Networking in the CA Bay Area: $2000 total travel stipend for two trips: 3 Days in October 2012; 3 Days in January 2013
