The Tepper Soccer Club (TSC) was formed in 2006 with the intention of organizing the strong soccer community at the Tepper School of Business. The TSC is co-ed and includes varying skill and interest levels, and is not only limited to players.
The basic premise of the club is to unite the diverse Tepper community with open and friendly competition, as well as to provide a social venue with which to network with other top business schools and alumni. To this end, the TSC practices weekly and competes in several national MBA tournaments annually, to which alumni regularly attend.
Additionally, the club hosts viewing and non-competitive events that attract both alumni and non-players. These provide a social venue where past and present members share their passion for the beautiful game.
Membership benefits include twice a week practices with all team equipment provided (Except cleats and shin-guards), periodic training/fitness sessions, intramural league teams and potential for PISA (Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena), opportunity to compete for team spots for MBA soccer tournaments, equipment discount at local soccer store, coaching opportunities, semester-end party, soccer viewing parties and other social events.
Check out the Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena for local indoor leagues and pick-up games.
Pittsburgh Soccer & Sports is a local soccer shop in Squirrel Hill that offers a 10% discount to Tepper Soccer Club members.
