Early Graduation Option

It is possible for a full-time MBA student to fulfill the requirements for the MBA degree in sixteen months by taking courses during the summer after the first year instead of pursuing an internship.

A student carrying a full load during the summer following the first year is able to complete the course requirements by the end of December of the second year. Students interested in pursuing early graduation may petition to do so after matriculation.

Permission for early graduation is processed by the Student Services office and only if the petitioner is in good academic standing at the end of the third mini-semester. Under normal circumstances, we do not encourage early graduation because the summer internship, between the first and second year, is of great value to most students in the MBA program. Early graduation offers flexibility to company-sponsored students, in particular to foreign nationals, who plan to work for their current employers.
