American Marketing Association Recognizes Tepper School Undergraduate Marketing Organization Among Top Collegiate Chapters

 NEW ORLEANS The American Marketing Association (AMA) has recognized the   Undergraduate Marketing Organization at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business among the top collegiate marketing programs. The announcement was made during the AMA’s 34th Annual International Collegiate Conference Awards, held during their annual convention of collegiate chapters, in New Orleans, La.

 The distinction recognizes the achievements of the school’s Undergraduate Marketing Association during AMA Marketing Week, honorable mention of the group’s performance in a case competition event and the students accomplishments in other marketing activities.  At the award ceremony, the students from Carnegie Mellon University were officially recognized in the following categories: Outstanding Marketing Week Activities, Outstanding Professional Development, Outstanding Communications and Outstanding Membership. The Tepper School Undergraduate Marketing Association serves to further the professional development of student members through leadership development, philanthropic involvement, training and involvement in the field of marketing. The organization is dedicated to the development and preparation of marketing students to equip them with the necessary skills to launch successful professional careers.
