
The Tepper School's undergraduate business program in Information Systems climbed to No. 1 in the country in the 2008 rankings released by U.S. News & World Report. Overall, U.S. News ranked the Tepper School's undergraduate program at No. 7, up from No. 8 last year, among the best business programs in the U.S.
Several other specialites within the undergraduate program also were ranked higher this year, including Production / Operations Management (No. 2 vs. No. 3 last year); Supply Chain Management (No. 6 vs. No. 7 a year ago); Entrepreneurship (No. 18 vs. No. 19); and General Management (No. 17 from No. 20 last year). Quantitative Analysis maintained its No. 2 position nationally from 2007. Only Finance declined form a year ago, just a notch to No. 10.
In other rankings news, Forbes magazine ranked the full-time MBA program at No. 20 for 2007, a change from No. 16 last year. U.S. News dates itsannual undegraduate rankings for the upcoming year, while Forbes dates its ranking with the current year.
