
The Undergraduate Business Program offers a business minor for Engineering to students in the Carnegie Institute of Technology (CIT).
The minor is tailored to the students' needs for quantitative modeling techniques, skills, and knowledge of the complex activity streams in both project management and supply chain management.
Students may apply for a business minor for engineering provided they meet the following criteria:
Please download and complete the Application Form: Business Minor for Engineering. Please turn it in, along with a copy of your academic audit, to the Undergraduate Business Office room 135 or 139, located in the Tepper School of Business (GSIA Building). After you submit the form, the Undergraduate Business Office will review your application to ensure that you meet the criteria. You will receive an acknowledgement by e-mail within two weeks.
The business minor for engineering requires a total of six courses. Please note: some courses have prerequisites that might include specific mathematics or other business courses. Prerequisites must be completed in order to enroll in these courses. Students may not take any courses for the minor as pass/fail. Students may receive credit for one course from another institution, which must be approved by the Undergraduate Business program prior to taking the course.
