Experience Week (Between Mini 1 & Mini 2)
Our mission is to connect the future leaders at Carnegie Mellon with the current leaders in the healthcare industry. Our signature event is the annual East Coast BioPharma Trek, which allows students to visit a variety of biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, payer, and other healthcare companies spanning the Northeastern United States. The trek enables students to create a touch point and gain insight through the interaction with Tepper alumni and executive leaders in companies that seek out MBA interns and full-time MBA students.
Sign-up details will be posted in Mini 1.

Our goal is to build national recognition for Carnegie Mellon University as a leader in health care, technology innovation and entrepreneurship and to connect students with health care professionals, alumni and recruiters. CMU is a world leader in technology research, and we intend to harness this intellectual capital and “wave the flag” for health care innovation in the Pittsburgh community. The conference will entail keynote speakers who are current leaders in the industry, to shed light on the industry as whole and the challenges ahead. There will be four panelist sessions covering Entrepreneurship, Health IT, Pharmaceuticals, and Healthcare Policy.
Registration details will be posted on the ihtconference.com website.
