CHRISTOPHER CONNELLY, PRESIDENT

Chris graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation, Chris started his career with Kiewit in New York City, a large domestic Infrastructure General Contractor. Throughout his tenure with Kiewit he was able to be part of project management teams for various projects, including the new construction of the 2nd Avenue Subway line on New York City’s Upper East Side. While at Tepper, Chris is pursuing concentrations in Finance, Strategy, and Accounting. Chris will be joining J.P. Morgan in the investment banking division in New York City this summer.

DHRUV FOTADAR, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Dhruv is currently the Executive Vice President of the Graduate Finance Association at the Tepper School Business. Prior to arriving at Tepper, Dhruv served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. During this time he had the privilege of leading and managing teams in Iraq, Africa, and Afghanistan. In his spare time he enjoys discussing and learning about political economics, surfing, hiking, and long distance running. He is currently exploring opportunities in the domain of social enterprise financing.

YUVAL KRONGRAD, VP OF INTERNAL

A Miami native, Yuval graduated from The George Washington University with a B.A. in Economics in 2008. He started his career at Israel Discount Bank of New York as a Credit Risk Analyst where he helped mitigate the bank’s risk relating to its corporate clients. After 2 years and having earned a Diploma in Credit Analysis from New York University, he was promoted to a role in Mid-Corporate Banking where he worked with the Israeli Group and Syndicated Loans. At Tepper, Yuval is concentrating in Finance and Accounting while pursuing a career in investment banking. He is also the VP of Finance for the Jewish Business Association and a member of the Basketball Club. This summer Yuval will be joining J.P. Morgan in the Investment Banking Division in New York.

JORDAN HOPKINS, TREASURER

Jordan Hopkins is a former Private Banker. For the past several years, Jordan worked to build relationships and give investment advice to ultra-high net worth families, specifically those who owned and ran hedge funds. Jordan also was heavily involved in recruiting and an active member of the firm’s Georgetown recruiting team. Jordan attended undergraduate programs at Duke University in Durham, NC and Drew University in Madison, NJ where he studied engineering and economics. Outside of his professional endeavors Jordan is very active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations including the Council of Urban Professionals, the Foreign Policy Association (Whitehead Fellow) and the Neighborhood House of Morristown, NJ. Jordan enjoys cooking, a variety of music and playing golf and is currently pursuing his MBA at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon.

AJAY NAGDEV, VP OF EVENTS

Ajay graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. He began his career as an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. After being promoted to manager, Ajay transitioned to work in-house for a venture capital firm in Silicon Valley. Ajay is a licensed CPA in the state of California. Ajay also serves as the President of the Basketball Club. Ajay is concentrating on Finance at Tepper and will be interning at Wells Fargo as a Summer Associate in the Technology and Venture Group in San Francisco.

KATHLEEN WALLACH, VP OF ALUMNI RELATIONS

Kathleen attended the University of Notre Dame where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science with a minor in Chinese. After graduation, she worked at Federated Investors Inc as an associate research analyst in the Municipal Bond Fund Group. Kathleen is pursuing concentrations in Finance, Economics, and Strategy at Tepper, and this summer she will be working at Ernst & Young LLP as a consultant in their Financial Services Office.

JIA LIN YUAN, VP OF PUBLICATIONS

JiaLin graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in Accounting. She began her career as a Public Finance analyst at Fortis Bank and later expanded her role into Corporate Banking. Prior to Tepper, she was in Commodity Finance  at BNP Paribas. At Tepper, JiaLin hopes to explore other career paths in finance and is in the investment strategy track. This summer, she will be joining Unilever for its Associate Finance Manager Internship.

PETER TRAN, VP OF TECHNOLOGY

Peter graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science and Technology. Prior to Tepper, he was a consultant with International Business Machines serving clients in the public sector. He is also the VP of Finance for Asian Business Association. In his free time, Peter enjoys playing basketball and traveling to different areas of the world to scuba dive. Peter will be interning with Emerson in the Corporate Strategy group this summer.

ALEXANDER MELESKO, VP OF MSCF RELATIONS

Alex graduated from University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Actuarial Science. After graduating, he worked as a financial analyst at General Dynamics Electric Boat, a nuclear submarine builder, where he was responsible for financial reporting and forecasting, as well as database implementation. Desiring a career in the markets, Alex is now pursuing dual MBA/MSCF degrees at Tepper. In his free time he enjoys running and snowboarding. This summer he will be interning in New York City at BNP Paribas in its Global Equities & Commodity Derivatives group.

SAMUEL GERBER, VP OF ASSET MANAGEMENT

Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Prior to coming to Tepper, he was an Assistant VP in Institutional Equity Sales at FBR Capital Markets in Washington, DC where he worked with Institutional Investors in Chicago, Denver and New York. Returning to his hometown to pursue an MBA, Sam is focusing on Finance, Economics and Strategy at Tepper. Sam also serves as the VP of Alumni Relation/Corporate Development for the Alpha Asset Management Club, VP of Marketing for the Energy Club, CFO of Tepper Fanalytics Club and is on the board of the Tepper Opportunity Fund. Sam enjoys playing any sport, skiing and rooting for any Pittsburgh sports team. Sam will be interning at the CMU Endowment this summer.

MARK FLEMMING, VP OF CORPORATE FINANCE

Mark Flemming is the Corporate Finance mentor for the GFA. Born and raised in Washington, DC, he earned his Bachelors of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation he moved to Madrid, Spain where he worked first as an English professor in a language academy before joining the World Bank as a strategic consultant. After a two years abroad, Mark returned to his native DC to join the Corporate Executive Board, where for 4.5 years he worked as a management consultant advising mid-size company corporate finance executives. Mark will spend his summer at Pfizer working as a Finance Associate in their finance rotational program. In his spare time, Mark enjoys Crossfit, playing soccer, traveling and skiing/snowboarding.

SAMANTHA SPEER, VP OF INVESTMENT BANKING

Samantha graduated from Lafayette College with a degree in Economics. She was a Summer Analyst at Merrill Lynch, and after graduation, continued as an Equity Research Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for two years, covering the Industrials sector. For the past year and a half, Samantha has spent time volunteering at The Perfect Fit in Allentown (a non-profit organization geared towards helping women re-enter the workforce) and continues to do so over her breaks. This summer, she will be joining Wells Fargo as a Summer Associate in Investment Banking in NYC.

STEPHEN MORSE, VP OF SALES AND TRADING

Stephen received a degree from Yale University in Economics where he was a four year letter-winner on the football team and president of his fraternity. After graduating from Yale, Stephen worked at a public finance firm as a consultant. He then decided to give back by volunteering at his former high school as a tutor and coach. Now at Tepper, Stephen looks to return to a career in finance.
