Christopher Vogt, President

Chris graduated from New York University with a BA in Economics. After graduating he worked for Munich Re’s Asset Manager in New York City where he worked in Operations and in Portfolio Management on a Trading Desk. At Tepper, Chris is focusing on Marketing and Strategy and will be interning at MillerCoors over the summer. Aside from the Wine Club, Chris also is a VP of Alumni and Communications for the Marketing Club. In his free time he enjoys cycling, travelling, and mixology. Chris’ favorite wines are California Cabernets, French Sauvignon Blancs, Sicilian Nero d’Avloas, and New York Traminettes.

Michael Cautero, Marketing VP

Mike graduated from Yale University with a BA in Political Science. While at Yale, he was a member of the Varsity Football team and also served as an officer in the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Upon graduation, Mike joined the J.P. Morgan Private Bank where he worked as an investment analyst in New York City. Mike is currently pursuing his MBA with concentrations in Marketing and Strategy, but, in his free time, he enjoys working out, reading, and playing with his French bulldog, Henry.

Elizabeth Harchic, Finance VP

As an undergraduate Betsy participated in a dual degree program, earning bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and bioengineering from Allegheny College and the University of Pittsburgh, respectively. Prior to Tepper, she worked as a biomedical research coordinator in a neural engineering research laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to the Wine Club Board, Betsy also serves as VP of Alumni Events for the BioPharma & Healthcare Club. She enjoys running, cooking and spending time with friends and family in her spare time.

Kristen Blanks, Partner VP

Kristen received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ohio University and her master’s degree in School Counseling from The Ohio State University. She relocated with her husband to Pittsburgh upon his acceptance into Tepper. Kristen has long enjoyed the culture of wine within her Italian family, through independent study, and through a study abroad program in Italy. She especially loves Italian wines. Even more, Kristen loves the pairing of food and wine and the new taste the perfect pairing can create. Kristen’s favorite wines are all Italian, and include Vernaccia di San Gimignano and big, bold “Super Tuscans”.

Veenusha Satchurn, VP

An avid wine enthusiast, Veenusha is fascinated by world of wine. She has a sweet spot for sweet wines that strike the perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. Her recent wine exploration journey has taken her from some of the well-known “Old World” wine regions in Italy to the newer wine-producing regions in Virginia and Napa in the States. Veenusha’s favorite grapes include Sagrantino, Moscato, Gewurztraminer, Malbec, Moscato and Shiraz.

Timothy Altman, VP

Tim Altman grew up in the Boston area and graduated with a degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley. After a brief stint as an audio engineer in the music business, Tim relocated to New York and began working in television advertising post-production as a sound designer and composer. His clients included various ad agencies, film studios and broadcast networks such as Viacom, NBC, HBO, A&E and Disney. Tim's role in post-production was both creative and technical and eventually grew to managing and producing content for broadcast television, feature film and the web. In his spare time, Tim is a musician, composer, triathlete, soccer player, and photographer.

Niharika Saxena, VP

Niharika loves wine and enjoys trying new varietals from around the world. She is always trying new food and wine parings to find optimal combinations that enhance the wine’s flavor profiles. Her favorite wine paring are spicy noodles with Gewürztraminer.
