Our graduates' analytical abilities set them apart as leaders who know how to approach and deliver results. The Career and Professional Development Center hosted 126 on-campus interview schedules and 439 individual interviews for undergraduate business students in 2011-2012. Students have access to many career-related events, including an annual professional development and workshop calendar, company information sessions, visits to employers, job fairs such as the Business Opportunities Conference, and the Wednesday Night Insight speaker series.
Students accept job offers with a range of companies including: Accenture, Barclays Capital, Citi, Deloitte Consulting, Deutsche Bank, DuPont, Freddie Mac, IBM, JP Morgan Chase, PNC, Teach for America and UBS. The average starting salary for 2012 graduates was $64,665 with a median of $70,000.
The Carnegie Mellon Career and Professional Development Center has a career consultant who works solely with undergraduate business students from the Tepper School of Business.
