Leadership Development Coaching

Students work one-to-one with a trained expert to hone their leadership skill sets. Many will continue to develop what they began in their Manager Ready℠ feedback sessions.

This planning also maximizes leadership lessons and the kinds of collaboration students will have with managers and mentors during their summer internships.

Students have the opportunity to meet with a leadership coach to review the results of the Manager Ready℠ assessment. During this session, the student and coach will identify areas of strength and areas for development. The student will then create an action plan that will include opportunities for practice and application.

About Leadership Development Coach, Laura Maxwell

Laura's passion is to help individuals identify their talents and discover the means to achieve success. A skilled facilitator and coach, she has established strong relationships with employees and leaders in leadership development, employee engagement, succession planning, selection and interviewing, coaching, and mentoring. She's worked with major organizations such as the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, PNC, Huntington Bank, Philips Van Heusen, Tommy Hilfiger, Inova Health Care Systems, PPG Industries, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Carnegie Mellon's Software Engineering Institute.
