Board Member Bios


Christian Hall, President

Christian grew up in the Washington, DC area and graduated from the College of William and Mary with a degree in International Studies and History. Following his graduation from William and Mary, he worked for advocacy and nonprofit organizations in DC, before switching over to the private sector where he worked in marketing for media and publishing companies. At Tepper, he is concentrating in marketing and pursuing the MIPD track, with the hopes of working for a technology company after graduation. He has a strong history of GLBT advocacy and, in his free time, enjoys exercising and traveling.


Brigid Johnson, VP of Admissions and Communications

Brigid grew up in Bethesda, MD and then went to University of Illinois where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Computer Science. From there she went on to work for a technology consulting firm where she focused on large application delivery. Brigid then moved to the financial services industry focusing on technology for commercial credit card systems. Brigid will be joining Amazon for her summer internship for a Product Manager role for technical products. Brigid is the current Tepper Women in Business President and on the board for Out&Allied and is really excited to be active in two great diversity clubs! Prior to coming to Tepper, Brigid was an avid horseback rider. In her spare time Brigid loves to bake for her classmates, she puts her baked goods in the Master’s lounge for all to enjoy.


Sophie Eustis, VP of Education & Community Development

Sophie graduated with a BA in sociology from Northwestern University. Before joining the Tepper School, she worked as an Americorps*VISTA at a small nonprofit in Chicago. Sophie then worked in enrollment management consulting for private colleges. While at the Tepper School she is pursuing concentrations in operations, organizational behavior and entrepreneurship. Sophie hopes to work in nonprofit management, specifically focusing on education and community development. She spends her free time playing and coaching lacrosse, and hiking around the Pittsburgh area.


Ankoor Patel, VP of Finance

Ankoor grew up in Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He spent the past 8 years in the aerospace and energy technology industries as a mechanical engineer. Ankoor is studying Marketing, Finance, and Economics at Tepper, and hopes to pursue Management Consulting with a focus on energy. Ankoor remains involved with Carnegie Mellon’s Engineers Without Borders chapter and the Tepper chapter of Net Impact, as well. When he’s not being an energy dork or obsessing over college football (Hook ‘Em Horns!), Ankoor is pretending he can play golf or cooking Tex-Mex at home.


Tim Altman, VP of Marketing

Tim grew up in the Boston area and graduated with a degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley. After a brief stint as an audio engineer in the music business, Tim relocated to New York and began working in television advertising post-production as a sound designer and composer. His clients included various ad agencies, film studios and broadcast networks such as Viacom, NBC, HBO, A&E and Disney. Tim's role in post-production was both creative and technical and eventually grew to managing and producing content for broadcast television, feature film and the web. In his spare time, Tim is a musician, composer, triathlete, soccer player, and photographer.


Jason Cahill, VP of Alumni & Corporate Relations

Jason has 15 years of experience in communications and network engineering, working for the federal government, major professional services companies, and enterprise clients. His expertise is in designing and implementing complex data systems, connecting diverse networks and then optimizing the routes for optimum utilization and efficiency. As a former member of 2nd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group in the United States Army, Mr. Cahill is well versed in working in austere environments and in meager conditions. Mr. Cahill seeks to help in building a more diverse student body at Tepper through education, engagement, and involvement. His passion is in taking existing problems, thinking of innovative and creative solutions, and then driving execution.
