OFFICERS
Smrithi is a full-time MBA student at Tepper. She graduated from Anna University, Chennai in 2006 with a BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Prior to Tepper, she worked in Cognizant Technology Solutions in their Chennai offices as a Programmer Analyst performing IT implementation for their ecommerce clients. She also worked as the stage manager and lead actor for the theatre group 'Chennai Drama House'. At Tepper, she was involved with the stage management for the International Festival and lead all ground operations during the India Trek. She is specializing in Marketing and Strategy concentrations. Apart from her responsibilities with SABA, she is also the VP of Professional Development for the Tepper Women in Business Club.
Arpit graduated with BS in Information Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology. Prior to Tepper, he worked at Deutsche Bank for three years, implementing strategic initiatives and formulating strategy to increase the usage of business services. At Tepper, he is pursuing concentrations in Finance and Economics. He has been involved in various activities through the GFA Club and Pro-bono Consulting initiative. In his free time, Arpit enjoys playing cricket and tennis. This summer, he will work at Citi in Global Transaction Services.
Steven has 6 years of experience in starting and growing a family business in Belgium. He built relations with international suppliers and oversaw the merger and post-merger restructuring of the firm with a competitor. He has a Master of Science in Electro-mechanical Engineering from the De Nayer Institute. During his time at Imec, a non-profit micro-electronics research institute, he developed tools for the production of micro-electronic devices. He seeks to contribute these past experiences to a career in consulting. He is keen on helping organizations assess the risks and seize the opportunities that today’s complex global village presents. At Tepper, he is involved in various activities with the Tepper Energy Club, Net Impact, the Consulting club’s pro bono consulting initiative and local angel investors.
Sunaina is a full-time MBA student at Tepper. She worked at Wipro Technologies for 3 years in enterprise applications and worked with nonprofits for a short while before joining Tepper. Here, she is concentrating in marketing and organizational behavior and is involved in various club activities. She headed the food committee for the Tepper International Festival 2009. Sunaina is excited about bringing South Asian flavor to Tepper and furthering opportunities for Tepper students to interact and learn about business in South Asia.
Kamal completed his Bachelors of Computer Engineering from University of Pune, India. Prior to Tepper Kamal worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Expedia.com where he helped analyze strategic initiatives. Prior to Expedia.com, Kamal worked as a technology consultant for Oracle (formerly Siebel Systems) where he advised Fortune 500 clients on technology implementations. Kamal was also actively engaged in mentoring and teaching at the King County Community Library System. Kamal loves travel and is an avid swimmer. Kamal has a keen interest in economic growth of the South Asian region. This summer Kamal will work as a Product Management Intern at Amazon.com.
Amit graduated with MS in Computer Science from University of Illinois. Prior to coming to Tepper, he worked at Microsoft corp. for eight years, working on products varying from bCentral, Customer Relationship Manager to In-game advertisement software. At Tepper, he is pursuing concentration in Finance. In his free time, he enjoys watching or playing cricket, table-tennis and keeping up with the news. This fall, he will switch to full-time MBA program.
