Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, James was a student-athlete at the University of Michigan and graduated with a degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering. After graduation, he worked as a project management consultant gaining the bulk of his experience in the energy sector. At Tepper, James is the president of the soccer club and his concentrations are strategy and operations. This past summer, he spent time in 3 countries within East Africa working with CARE International to develop strategy and implementation plans with the goal of lifting 30 million of the poorest members of society out of poverty in the next 10 years.
Originally from Cameroon, Lapah holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Buea and a Master of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma City University. Prior to Tepper, he worked as a Revenue Staff Accountant for Devon Energy Production Company based in Oklahoma City. At Tepper, he is a Consortium Fellow and is pursuing a concentration in Strategy, Finance, and Operations. He also serves on the board of the Soccer Club, Black Business Association and is a Consortium Liaison for Tepper. This past summer, he interned with Accenture in the Finance and Enterprise Performance Practice.
