Innovation in Health Care Technology Conference Focuses on Achieving an Improved Health Care System

Innovation and the introduction of new technologies into the marketplace can play a significant role in increasing access to health care while improving the quality of care and managing costs.  Carnegie Mellon University’s Innovation in Health Care Technology Conference brings together, entrepreneurs, policy makers, pioneers in new medical devise, IT and biopharma technology and health care industry experts for a full day of discourse on Friday, April 5, 2013 on the CMU campus.

The agenda will consist of 3 keynote presentations and 4 individual panels focused on the topics of: addressing healthcare policy, biopharma challenges and opportunities, entrepreneurship and health IT Attendees will be welcomed by Heinze college Dean Ramayya Krishnan and closing remarks will be presented by Robert M. Dammon, dean of the Tepper School of Business.
