Tepper School Community Service Day at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden - Thursday, August 22

More than 250 MBA students, representing more than 2 dozen nationalities, will converge at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden for the Tepper School’s annual community service day. The program, sponsored by Alcoa Corp., engages students in community projects and concludes the school’s four-week BaseCamp orientation program.

When:             Thursday, August 22, 2013:  9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Who:               More than 250 Tepper School MBA Students & Volunteers  

Students will be working as teams to complete a variety of outdoor tasks including trail maintenance, fence construction, landscaping and work with native plants. This is the second year that this program will be hosted at this location, a 460 acre land-reclamation project that is transforming abandoned mining land into a world-class botanic garden within a short drive of downtown Pittsburgh.
