In junior high, C. S Wyatt began helping neighbors with computer questions. In high school, with a science teacher he formed his first company. After earning his bachelor's degrees at the Univ. of Southern California, he co-founded a retail computer store and a publishing technology consultancy. Wyatt used a satellite dish and modem bank to create an early dial-up ISP for his rural community. He has held executive positions in the lending industry, retail, technology, and publishing.
In 2004, Wyatt took a (partial) leave from private industry to earn master's and doctoral degrees in rhetoric, with an emphasis on quantitative analysis of message effectiveness.
