Best Place To Eat

Yo Rita, on the South Side. It's fun and with great, creative tacos (ever had a taco made with duck or pork belly?) and conveniently located a few blocks from the Milkshake factory, whose chocolate-peanut butter shakes are a great way to end a night!
 

Best Off-Campus Activity

Keeping honeybees is one of them! Since starting at Tepper, I've established an urban beekeeping organization with some others in town called Burgh Bees--we're currently building a community apiary and demonstration pollinator garden in Homewood-across from the East End brewery--another local gem.
 

Best Groceries

Spring thru Fall our favorite food places are the farmers market in the Strip District and the local farm whose food share we subscribe to. In the winter months, we head to Whole Foods and the East End Food Coop for fresh goods.
 

Best Way to Exercise

We exercise ourselves and our dog in Schenley, Frick, and Highland Parks--which are beautiful wooded places to spend part of your day. Otherwise walking/running around all the neighborhoods is a fun way to get to know the city!
