Undergraduate Economics


Course Description

A topics-based course for first-year students. This course is not a supplement nor a replacement for Principles of Economics. Instead, it meant to introduce students to how social scientists (particularly economists) examine governments, societies, markets, and organizations. Subjects discussed vary from year-to-year and from instructor-to-instructor; recent subjects include behavioral economics, environmental policy, defining progress, and more.
