Program participants will immerse themselves in relevant topics such as high performance teams, energy economics, risk assessment, financial decision making, energy-policy/regulatory implications, emerging technologies, and individual leadership and coaching. Participants will be granted an Energy Management Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University.

    Today’s business climate is marked by shifting global trends, increased pressure from new and different competitors, and the need to respond and adapt to change.

    Leadership Strategies for Energy Managers is specifically designed to advance the managerial decision-making and leadership capabilities of managers working in the energy industry. Program participants will dive into relevant topics such as high performance teams, energy economics, risk assessment, financial decision making, energy policy and regulatory implications, emerging energy technologies, and individual leadership and coaching.

    In addition to walking away prepared to address business and leadership opportunities, participants will be granted an Energy Management Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University.

    Leadership Strategies for Energy Managers is ideal for technical managers and engineers in the energy industry.
  • Terms & Conditions

    Fee: The program fee covers tuition, course materials, and most meals. Companies sending three or more participants, organizations with fewer than 500 employees, non-profits, and the government sector receive a 10% discount.

    Accommodation: Rooms have been reserved at special seminar rates at a local hotel. Logistic details will be communicated to participants after registration. Cost of accommodation is not included in the program fee.

    Cancellation policy: For cancellations received more than four weeks before the program, the program fee will be fully refunded, less a $300 administrative fee. For cancellations received 14 to 27 days before the program, a 35% refund will be provided. For cancellations received less than 14 days before the program, no refunds will be given. Feasible substitutions may be an option at the discretion of the Tepper School of Business.
