The Tepper School’s capstone courses provide in-depth study in specific industries and fields as well as provide options for Global Study and real-world consulting partnerships.

The Management Game

The Management Game is an applied strategic management and general management simulation where teams of students operate multinational companies for (a forecasted) three-year period, acting as the company's executive committee. Groups compete as they run the business for added value and report to a board of directors, made up of alumni and industry executives. 

Strategic Management of the Enterprise

Offered in partnership with A.T. Kearney, this course presents real-world projects that are assigned and managed with a portfolio of companies spanning multiple industries. Students work alongside A.T. Kearney clients on issues spanning strategy, operations, technology and marketing assignments.

Germany Study Abroad

A four-week experience during students' second year that partners with the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management in Koblenz, Germany. An immersive study of transitional economies, the course is taught in Koblenz, Germany; Bratislava, Slovakia; and Prague, Czech Republic. Courses explore European economic integration, competing in European markets and operations management in Europe.

Asia Study Abroad

A four-week experience during students’ second year that partners with The Chinese University of Hong Kong Business School. Students participating in this program will study in Hong Kong and Guangzhou. Courses explore Sino-Us taxation comparison, multinational companies in China and supply chain management in China.

Capstone within a Track

Students also have the option to complete their capstone course within one of the six MBA tracks.
