Focus on Professional and Career Development
At Carnegie Mellon’s Career and Professional Development Center, business students work with an affiliated career consultant who works only with undergraduate business students, helping them to locate job and internship opportunities, improve interview and networking skills, and develop successful resumes. Professional development opportunities include case competitions, conferences and alumni networking events.
Grow through Community Involvement and Social Responsibility
Through the professional service project, students demonstrate their use of business and leadership skills outside of the classroom, develop professional networks and engage in community and social responsibility.
Develop Leadership Skills through Tepper School Club Activities
Beginning in their first semester, students gain hands-on experience with planning and running large-scale events through student clubs and activities. First year students learn by partnering with upperclassmen as they lead award-winning student organizations. Because we are a small program, every student has an opportunity to take a leadership assignment or position.
