Huiying (Emma) Ding graduated with highest distinction from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics of finance. She received University Honors four times and was the James B. Angell Scholar twice. During the summer of 2014, Emma interned in the asset management division of Anxin Securities Company, where she became interested in quantitative finance, and, in particular, risk management. Emma joined the MSCF program to further expand her knowledge of quantitative finance and develop a more comprehensive market view. Upon completion of this program, she wants to pursue a career in risk management or S&T department.
