Kasi Muthaiah graduated in 2014 from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences at PSG College of Technology, a top private engineering college in India, with a Master of Science in Software Engineering. He interned with a financial consulting firm where he analyzed the performance of different types of mutual funds in India. His interest in computing and finance earned him an internship at Goldman Sachs, working in their Fixed Income, Commodities and Currency Technology team. In his 11 months at Goldman Sachs, he worked with the technology teams of various trading desks to build technology infrastructure maintenance tools. He joined the MSCF program to learn more about the quantitative and computational techniques used in finance. He hopes to have a career in quantitative trading or risk management.
