Artur Spivacenco graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2013 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Markets and Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics. His passion for the markets emerged after he joined the Financial Markets Program in 2011, where he actively co-managed a portfolio with a net value of more than $500,000. He worked at Minnesota Power as a utility load forecaster, where he developed and enhanced econometric models to forecast customer electric usage and peak demand. Artur’s quantitative background and passion for the financial markets motivated him to join the MSCF program, where he works hard to expand his knowledge of the markets and quantitative skills to pursue a career in trading or asset management.
