Prashanth Veeramani graduated from the National Institute of Technology, India with a major in Electrical Engineering in 2012. His interest in finance propelled him to take up a job with one of the financial giants. Post undergraduate, he worked for Goldman Sachs for 3 years as a Program Analyst. In his tenure with Goldman, Prashanth contributed to the design and implementation of a number of regulatory tools for swap products. He was one of the lead contributors to the web stack design of the firm’s primary trading platform. Prashanth gained valuable exposure to fixed income trades, derivatives, interest rate swaps, futures and regulations such as Dodd-frank, EBCS, STRD. With an ambition of broadening his domain and developing a promising career in quant or structuring, he is currently pursuing an MS in Computational Finance from Tepper School of Business.
