Curriculum Requirements Adjusted:
Starting this fall, students entering the Tepper School of Business will have the opportunity not only to focus on a specific business track, but also to complement their business studies by minoring in a subject of their own choosing. The Under-graduate Curriculum Committee made the change in keeping with the inter-disciplinary emphasis of Carnegie Mellon University.

2008 Freshmen Orientation
How do you introduce some of the world’s best and brightest future business leaders to one of the world’s best business schools? Along with the many all-campus activities during Carnegie Mellon’s 2008 Orientation Week, incoming Tepper freshmen take time out for introductory sessions of their own:
-- Sunday, 7/17 (1:30 – 2:30 p.m.)
   Tepper Freshman Parent Orientation
-- Thursday, 7/21 (10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
   Tepper Freshman Student Orientation
-- Thursday, 7/21 (1:30 – 3:30 p.m.)
    Pre-scheduled Freshman/Advisor Appointments 


Undergraduate Career Center:
Incoming Tepper freshmen soon gain knowledge of one of the vital services available to help guide them throughout their years at Tepper, leading to a promising career: the Undergraduate Career Center. Students learn to take advantage of Career Center resources and services -- such as job search planning, resume writing, finding an internship, and even landing a campus job -- during Orientation Week’s Walk-In Advising hours.

Undergrads Pitch Tasteful Ideas:

The namesake confections sold at Dozen Cupcakes are organic, sustainable, locally produced and — by all accounts — over-the-top delicious.

In a case competition coordinated by the Tepper School's Undergraduate Marketing Organization, student teams were asked to devise a marketing plan that would integrate the company's original Pittsburgh bakery into an expansion plan.
