Tepper Internal Case Competition: Coming Soon!
Tepper's annual Internal Case Competition, scheduled for November 6 and 7, gives juniors and seniors the opportunity to perfect their case interview skills, and network with faculty, alumni and industry professionals. Students work in teams of five or six on a case written especially for the event, then present their conclusion before a panel of judges. Participants gain subsequent opportunities to represent Tepper at other national and international case competitions.


Internship Recruiting Conference:
Student leaders with an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for winning, and the ability to build collaborative, mutually beneficial relationships, as well as exemplifying creativity, innovation and great communication skills, have the opportunity to apply for internships with a wide range of retail accounts. Sponsored by Tepper's Undergraduate Marketing Organization.


Creative Careers Seminar:
On Friday, November 6, students can meet professionals and learn about careers in Advertising, and Marketing, Arts Management, Design and Multimedia, and more. Sponsored by CMU's Career and Professional Development Center.

Tepper Students Study Abroad This Summer:
Taking advantage of the summer months for study overseas were: Valerie Jordan and Luke Droulez, at the Otto Beisheim School of Management at WHU in Germany; Nakul Bagla, Lu Xie, Tian Wu, and Kathryn Fowler at the London School of Economics in England; and Stephan Chan at Shanghai International Studies University in China.


Two Tepper Students Win Tartan Abroad Scholarship:
Stephan Chan and Tian Wu are recipients of the Tartan Abroad Scholarship, which is awarded to students based on the quality of their proposal, a recommendation letter, and commitment to sharing their experience with the university community upon return.

Executive Director Visits Qatar Campus

Dr. Milton Cofield (center), Executive Director of the Tepper School of Business Undergraduate Business Administration program in Pittsburgh visited Carnegie Mellon's sister campus in Qatar this fall, to dialogue with students and administrators there, as well as to ensure continuity between the two programs.
