Jay

Jay Cusick, Graduate Assistant of Masters Admissions

Jay Cusick joined the Masters Admissions team in July of 2013 and will be with the office for the next two years assisting with the office's marketing and outreach initiatives.  He is currently working toward his Masters of Education in Higher Education Administration Student Affairs at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  He holds his Bachelor's degree in Theology and Theatre from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He loves all things southern, bowties, boat shoes, and is excited about learning the Pittsburgh area, and always welcomes any good restaurant or pub recommendations!


Admin James

James Frick, Director of Masters Admissions

James Frick  joined the Tepper Admissions team 2003 after serving as Associate Director for MBA Programs. James assists in all phases of the admissions process, and also takes lead roles in recruiting initiatives. James has worked at the Tepper School since 1998. He holds a BA from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA from Radford University, and is currently (ever so slowly) pursuing his doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Pittsburgh. He welcomes advice on training overly-active dogs and is a diehard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.


Admin Jackie Jackie Jones, Assistant Director of Masters Admissions

Jackie Jones joined the Masters Admissions Team in November of 2012. In her current role as an Assistant Director, Jackie assists with our marketing and outreach initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Science in Education from Indiana University, Bloomington. Jackie enjoys running marathons, rowing in the summer with a local crew team, and many other outdoor activities in the Pittsburgh region.


Admin Annie

Annie Julian, Associate Director of Masters Admissions

Annie Julian joined the Masters Admissions Team in July of 2007. In her current role as an Associate Director, Annie works with interested MBA and MSCF prospective students throughout the application process. She also leads the military outreach and recruiting initiatives, the credential verification process for all entering MBA and MSCF students, as well as plans the on campus Admissions events. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Lycoming College and a Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She enjoys cooking and baking, and her homemade strawberry jam is a favorite of the Admissions team!


Admin Dana

Dana Lovas, Masters Admissions Coordinator

Dana Lovas joined the admissions team in 1987. She has held a variety of positions over the years and her current responsibilities include processing and tracking applications through each stage of the process and providing information to our applicants. Dana is also responsible for the coordination of foreign student I-20’s by processing the pertinent forms and working with the Office of International Education to ensure that our foreign students receive their I-20’s in a timely fashion.

Dana's experience in admissions makes her a valuable asset to our office and to our applicants. She is able to answer most questions you may have regarding the application process.


Debbie Macedonia

Debbie Macedonia, Assistant Director of Masters Admissions

Debbie Macedonia joined the Masters Admissions Team in May 2013. In her role as an Assistant Director, Debbie assists with our admissions operations and also works with interested MBA and MSCF students throughout the application process . She holds dual Bachelor of the Arts degrees from Virginia Tech  in Economics and International Studies as well as a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business. Debbie enjoys traveling, baking, watching college sports, and exploring Pittsburgh.


Admin Monique

Monique Moreland, Associate Director of Masters Admissions

Monique C. Moreland has worked at the Tepper School of Business since May 2003. She has held positions in both the Masters Admissions and the Masters Student Services departments. While working in Masters Admissions, her role has included assisting prospective students with all aspects of the MBA admissions process, as well as working closely with Alumni Relations. Her 4 1/2 years spent in the Tepper Student Services Department, has included being an academic advisor to both the Full-time and FlexTime student populations, along with being the Student Services club advisor to 10 of the 30 student clubs. Monique holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, along with a Masters in Business Administration.


Judy

Judy Nardiello, Office Manager of Masters Admissions

Judy Nardiello joined the Masters Admission team in January, 2014. She brings ten years of MBA Admissions experience to her role as Office Manager. In many cases, Judy will be the first point of contact with prospective MBA and MSCF candidates.  Judy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and was an elementary school teacher early in her career. Judy enjoys British mysteries, her cats and spoiling her grandchildren.


Admin KellyO

Kelly Ogiba, Assistant Director of Masters Admissions

Kelly Ogiba joined the Masters Admissions Team in February of 2012. In her role as assistant director, Kelly works with interested MBA students as they move throughout their application process. She looks forward to answering any questions from candidates as they take this important step toward their future. Kelly also works closely with women's recruitment initiatives, and the Forté Foundation. She holds a Bachelors degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from St. John Fisher College and a Master of Arts in  Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Kelly enjoys exploring Pittsburgh’s running trails, yoga, and reading.


Admin Alesha  

Alesha Simpson, Masters Admissions Coordinator

Alesha Simpson joined the Masters Admissions Team in September of 2006.  Alesha is responsible for processing and tracking MSCF applications through each stage of the process, providing information to our applicants, and scheduling interviews and visits for the Computational Finance Program.  She processes the Consortium applications, the coordination of foreign MSCF student I-20’s by processing the pertinent forms and working with the Office of International Education to ensure that our foreign students receive their I-20’s in a timely fashion, and helps with the MBA process as needed.


Admin Gwen

Gwen Stanczak, Director of Masters Admissions

Gwen Stanczak joined the Masters Admissions team in June 2003. Gwen has been with Carnegie Mellon University since 2000, having held positions in Enrollment Services as well as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Programs in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Gwen holds a dual BA in Psychology and Spanish from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a Master in Public Management from Carnegie Mellon. Gwen takes a lead role in admissions operations and is available to discuss all aspects of the application process with prospective MBA and MSCF students. She is an avid reader and enjoys cooking all types of cuisine.


Admin KellyW

Kelly R. Wilson, Executive Director of Masters Admissions

Kelly Wilson joined the Masters Admissions Team in August of 2012. In her role as Executive Director, she brings over 15 years of admissions and recruiting experience to the Tepper  School. Prior to her experience in Higher Education, Kelly worked as a strategic change consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and an account executive for Johnson & Higgins of Washington, DC Inc. Kelly holds a BA in Psychology from Grove City College, an MBA from George Mason University and an MS-MIS degree from University of Pittsburgh. Kelly has traveled to over 30 countries and loves to learn about new cultures. One tip Kelly offers is that much can be learned about a different society by visiting the neighborhood grocery store, which she does each time she arrives in a new place.
