Faculty Position in Accounting

Tenure-track faculty opening at all ranks in Accounting, commencing September 2018.  Applicants for the assistant professor rank should have completed (or nearly completed) a Ph.D. in accounting or a related discipline and have a strong training in economics, mathematics, and statistics and a demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching.  Applicants for higher ranks should have an established record of excellent research, teaching, and service. Teaching assignments encompass undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. Programs.

Accounting Faculty Position Open to Economists

Tenure-track faculty opening at the Assistant Professor level in Accounting, commencing September 2018. Applicants should have completed (or nearly completed) a Ph.D. in economics, financial economics, or a related discipline. They should have a strong training in economics, mathematics, and statistics and a demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching.  Applicants with interests in all fields of economics, including financial economics and information economics, are encouraged to apply. Tenure Track Position in Business Technology

The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University invites applicants for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Business Technology to begin in September 2018. The ideal candidate will play a leading role in advancing the school's analytical approach to business, which is a long-standing differentiator of the Tepper School’s approach to business education and research. Applicants are expected to have a doctoral degree at the time of appointment in Information Systems, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, Computer Science or related fields. Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Operations Research

The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University seeks candidates for a tenure-track faculty position in Operations Research, preferably at the Assistant Professor level, beginning in September 2018.  Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in Operations Research or a related field at the time of appointment, a demonstrated potential for outstanding research, and strong teaching skills.

The specialty of the candidate may be in the broad area of Optimization with connections to Business Analytics and Machine Learning.  The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to the school’s analytical approach to business education, and engage in cross-disciplinary research activities within the Tepper School and Carnegie Mellon University.
