“I enjoyed the personal interactions that I had with the admissions team, current students and alumni. I felt that the Tepper School's culture was very welcoming and inclusive."

— Prospective Tepper MBA Student after attending Diversity Weekend

We pride ourselves on a diverse student population and truly believe that it creates a richer, more valuable experience for you. That’s why we host our annual Diversity Weekend and invite you to join us to learn more about how you will benefit from the Tepper School experience.

What happens during Diversity Weekend?

Throughout the weekend, Tepper School representatives highlight the value of the MBA and the strengths of our program, as well as showcase the differences and advantages of our diverse community, program and global alumni network. We also share tips on the MBA application process as well as financing your MBA.

The 2016 Diversity Weekend Keynote Speaker was Erren Lester, product management executive and White House Presidential Innovation Fellow.

When and Where Is Diversity Weekend?

The 2017 Diversity Weekend will be held on Nov. 4-5, with optional programming on the evening of Nov. 3, on our main campus in Pittsburgh. The Tepper School is happy to offer students accommodations on the evenings of Nov. 4-5 at the Wyndham Grand Downtown Pittsburgh.

Who should attend Diversity Weekend?

Women belong in business. A Tepper School MBA will help you accomplish your unique career goals while providing a personalized path that varies from woman to woman. From Tepper Women in Business to our partnership with the Forte Foundation, there are ample opportunities for Tepper women to thrive.

As an underrepresented student, you bring unique and powerful perspective to the Tepper School MBA program; in turn, we strive to support you along the way. From the Black Business Association, Latin American Business Club and our partnerships with The Consortium and Management Leadership for Tomorrow, underrepresented minority students are well-prepared for succeeding in MBA studies and post-MBA careers.

LGBT Community

We welcome your perspective as a self-identifying lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender student, and want to meet you as an ally. From Out & Allied and participation in the Reaching Out Conference, LGBT students will find a welcoming community that embraces their perspective.

The Tepper School is built on leadership, and as a military student, you will easily adapt to the challenge of business school. We look forward to the knowledge you will bring to the student experience. The Tepper Veterans Club, our participation in Yellow Ribbon and partnership with Military MBA provides valuable resources to ensure active and veteran military have the support they need to succeed.
