Biography

Darryl Britt is president of Apprio Inc., a provider of specialized technology solutions, particularly for the health, defense and homeland security markets. He has been a founding member of several technology firms during his more than 25 years in business. His experience spans executive positions at leading technology and software product development organizations for public, private and startup companies. 

Under Britt’s leadership, Apprio has experienced significant growth and has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies according to Inc. Magazine, the Washington Business Journal and Deloitte Consulting.

Britt’s management has resulted in Apprio obtaining industry certifications, including the Small Business Association’s 8a certification, ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System, Health Level Seven International certification and being appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration.

Under Britt’s direction, Apprio developed the federal government’s Disaster Medical Information Suite, an electronic health record and situational awareness solution used to manage medical care during federal disasters and designated national security events.

Britt earned bachelors and master’s degrees from Carnegie Mellon University.
